SMS Veneering Services Ltd were incorporated on 28th October 1976, by three directors – Mr Thomas G. Shorney, Mr George E. Morris and Mr John H. Sharley, with the aim of supplying high quality real wood veneered products to the trade. Their reputation has steadily grown over the years, they are known today as one of the leading manufacturers of bespoke real wood veneered products.

Mr Shorney’s son Robert and Mr Sharley’s son Stuart have been Directors in the company for many years now and since the retirement of their fathers they have taken over the day to day running of the business carrying on the family tradition of fine quality real wood veneering.

The company moved from its original leased premises at Easton-in-Gordano in 1992 to its current site at Weston-Super-Mare where they acquired land and purpose built their own factory.
