About SMS Veneering Services Ltd

Incorporated on 28th October 1976, SMS Veneering Services’ three directors Thomas Shorney, George Morris and John Sharley, began with the aim of supplying high quality real wood veneered products to the trade. Our reputation has steadily grown over the years and we are known today as one of the leading manufacturers of bespoke real wood veneered products.

Since the retirement of their fathers, Rob Shorney and Stuart Sharley have taken on the directorship within the company and the day to day running of the business thus carrying on the family tradition of fine quality real wood veneering.

SMS Veneering moved from the original premises in Easton-in-Gordano in 1992 to our current site at Weston-Super-Mare where the company acquired land and purpose built the factory.

Since 1976 our customer base has expanded extensively working with Shop fitters, Cabinet Makers, Media Wall Manufacturers, Building and Construction companies and Bespoke Kitchen Manufacturers. We have also been delighted to be able to work with our customers who are looking for a more bespoke and individual look for their own homes.
